NEW BCD SS-100 – passive AC power line decoupler
The BCD SS-100 is a very special type of transformer designed to passively filter AC power through a single input and a single output (SS stands for Single Socket).
It can be used with any electronic device except power amplifiers. The connected unit must not draw more than 100W of power. For the best performance, we recommend using one SS-100 for each unit in order to avoid interference between connected devices. For this reason, power strips should not be used to connect multiple units to a single SS-100.
SS-100 has been primarily designed for digital sources such as CD players, DACs, and streaming players, but it also performs exceptionally well with fully analog equipment, including preamplifiers and phono stages. Although there is no direct involvement with the audio signal itself, it can even improve the performance of turntables!
