High performance discrete components circuits, functional blocks on removable and updatable PCB’s, total configurability, compatibility with PC’s or home automation systems: features that make the Cinecittà Processore a long lasting high value investment. New fashion: front panel, side panels and top cover made of finely brished, machined aluminum, rounded edges.

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS: • Discrete components analog line preamplifiers, wideband and low feedback; • Phono preamplifier and tape buffer made with high performance op-amps; • Extreme quality passive components: low or very low tolerance metal film resistors, low tolerance poliestere or polipropylene non-polarised capacitors, low ESR, high speed high value electrolytic capacitors, organic dielectric low value electrolytic capacitors. • Integrated bufferless network resistances volume controls for highest transparency. • Switching relays with gold-plated silver contacts. • Upgradable digital audio decoding board. Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro-Logic II, DTS-ES and DTS Neo:6 compatibility. Decoding algorhythms on rewritable memory: the algorhythms can be updated or new ones can be uploaded when available via the provided RS-232 port.
• Eight channels 192kHz/24bits DAC. 192kHz/24bits stereo ADC.

• Upgradable digital audio I/O board. 192/24 coaxial inputs, 96/24 Toslink optical inputs. Digital tape output with separate bar. The selected analog source for listening is also available on the digital tape bar via A/D conversion.

• Upgradable video processing board. Inputs: composite, s-video, component. Ouputs: composite, s-video, YCbCr or RGB component with configurable sync, YPbPr or RGB progressive with configurable sync on either 3xRCA or Dsub-15 (VGA). Four formats available at the same time thanks to a cross-conversion digital matrix. Unused outputs can be switched off to reduce digital noise. Video switching with very large bandwidth solid-state switches. High speed output buffers. Discrete components, high slope output antialias filter for best matching with digital TV’s or plasmas.

• Triple 12bits/54MHz A/D converter. Six 10bits/54MHz D/A converters for interlaced outputs. Triple 11bits/54MHz D/A converter for progressive outputs.
• Separate tape bar with composite and s-video outputs. Even the selected source for vision can be routed to the tape output in order to exploit the format conversion feature. For example, it is possible to record a composite signal on a video tape recorder provided with s-video input only.
• Deinterlacing processor with Faroudja DCDi algorhythm.
• On-Screen display apart the video signal path to preserve the best video quality.
